If you spend even a short stretch of time on Twitter you cannot escape Auto Dm's, I want to know why they are used and their effectiveness when trying to reach your audience....


Auto Dm's are seen as a positive tool by individuals trying to sell or raise awareness and I want to find out why this is the case. Whilst those who are positive about their usage will point to the valuable business contacts and even sales that have been garnered from an Auto Dm there are also equal numbers of people who feel they are counter productive. As you are not likely to receive any negative comments when you send them ,as the ultimate act of defiance will result in an unfollow, how can you quantify their effectiveness?
